More Than Just a Coffee Shop
Yes, BEANS offers a nice selection of great coffees and teas, and we make all of our soups, salads, sandwiches, quiches and cakes on the premises. However, we are quickly becoming known for our art classes and special events. We also display and sell a growing collection of jewellery, prints, cards, stained glass, paintings, collage & stitchery works, ceramics, and fused glass created by talented local artists.

Cookery Days, Evening Events, Art/Craft Parties
Watch, make, smell and taste when you join us for a day of bread making – or a day of vegetarian feast making – or both. Enjoy dinner, followed by music or a guest speaker, or a themed evening like Thanksgiving. Let us help you plan your next birthday party or special event at BEANS – we can offer activities appropriate for the age group plus a choice of light refreshments or party food.
Class & Workshop Schedules
Individual course descriptions and an online copy of our latest leaflet have been posted to the Courses Page. And, our Booking Request Form is operational – but just to be safe, after you complete the form please be sure to call us (07815 697555) so we can confirm receipt of your registration and availability of the class(es) you would like to attend.
Opening Hours
BEANS is open Thursday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Sunday is currently reserved for art classes. After we learn when people visit and what works best, our opening and closing times may change… we’ll let you know.
